Oppose Burma's Sham Elections – Video Campaign

To mark the 22nd anniversary of the 1988 student uprising in Burma, the U.S. Campaign for Burma has launched Oppose Burma’s Sham Elections, a campaign to press U.S. and world leaders to take a firmer line and not recognize the upcoming sham elections or its undemocratic results in the country of Burma.

Our supporters across the United States and around the world are sending short video messages via YouTube to respective world leaders and the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, urging them not to recognize the upcoming sham elections and the results, and to put pressure on the military regime’s to return to a tripartite dialog between pro-democracy forces and ethnic minorities for national reconciliation.

Everyday as we receive video messages from our supporters, we will be posting them on our website, blog, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. So now is the time to broadcast yourself and your dedication to bring freedom and justice to Burma.

Here are the first 6 videos that we have received so far. Check them out and make your own video for a free Burma.
